With only four days to go until Electric Picnic 2010 gets under way, it's time to start planning your weekend in earnest. And Ragged Words will be here all week to help soundtrack your festival preparations. Each day we'll be bringing you a new SoundCloud mix, showcasing some of our recommended acts who'll be bringing the noise down to Stradbally this coming weekend.
Today we're focussing on some of the artists who'll be kicking off this year's Picnic on Friday evening, with a Saturday mix to follow tomorrow and a rundown of some of Sunday's highlights on Wednesday. Come Thursday, we can all expect to be losing sleep with pre-festival excitement, so we'll be offering you TWO mixes - one focusing on the wealth of homegrown Irish talent playing this year, and another highlighting some of the quality acts who'll be blowing up The Body & Soul Village all weekend long.

Electric Picnic 2010 takes place from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September @ Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois. Weekend Tickets are €240 - there are no single day tickets. Above ticket price includes booking fee & VAT. Tickets are available from all usual outlets and through www.ticketmaster.ie.
