New Beach House LP Teen Dream out Jan 25
So desperate are we for any news regarding the new Beach House record - due out early next year according to a previous announcement - that detective hats have been donned and we can tell you that the duo's third LP, entitled Teen Dream, will be released in the US through their new home of Sub Pop on January 26. Presumably Bella Union's UK release date will fall a day earlier.
Although neither label have announced details of the record, a release post deep in the Sub Pop website (http://www.subpop.com/releases/beach_house/full_lengths/teen_dream) reveals the details, adding that the album was recorded in upstate New York, in a converted church called Dreamland with producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has worked with TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blonde Redhead, and a bunch of others)
Featuring last year's single Used To Be, the ten-track album, which the label call an all-consuming obsession for Beach House the past 9-12 months, will be packaged with a companion DVD featuring a video for each song on the album, each by a different director.
