MP3 EXCLUSIVE! Download Jogging's 'Shape Up Shakedown' For Free
After rocking the socks off a recent Ragged Words night at Dublin’s Twisted Pepper, local post-hardcore trio Jogging are poised to release their debut album, entitled Minutes, through leading independent imprint The Richter Collective. Actually, we tell a lie – the band have already made the album available for the recession-busting price of €5 via Bandcamp. But from Sunday week (May 2nd) it will be available in physical form, complete with superdeadly album artwork courtesy of Eleanor McCaughey.
As a taster for what to expect, the lads have made the rollicking ‘Shape Up Shakedown’ available to us for free download. A sharp blaze of riffage and howling call-and-response vocals that calls to mind At The Drive-In as well as any number of Dischord acts past and present, ‘Shape Up Shakedown’ is a pummeling head-first introduction to the band’s sound.
