In this cynical, post-everything age of hype over substance, it’s a pleasure to encounter the elemental folk sounds of Mountain Man. As pure and uncontrived as an Appalachian stream, these three ladies make music that stirs the soul. With debut album Made The Harbor set for release on June 11th, Bella Union have decided to whet appetites by offering a free SoundCloud download of gorgeous album track ‘Soft Skin’. As well as giving an introduction to the trio’s soothing, organic mountain music, ‘Soft Skin’ happens to be the perfect antidote to the Monday morning blues. While we figure out why our embedding is acting up, enjoy the track here.
