Will there be a more hyped debut alum released this year? Whatever you make of The Drums - and we're still trying to make our minds up - their self-titled debut, out via Moshi Moshi/Island on June 7, is among the most anticipated releases of the year.

The album will be preceded by new single 'Forever and Ever Amen' on May 31 and having just finished an intimate sold out three-date UK tour this week (where apparently they were watched by Morrissey, Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke of The Smiths), The Drums play two heavily sold out nights at London's Heaven in June but have also added a show at the Junction Cambridge in on June 29 as a warm up for their support slot with Kings of Leon at Hyde Park, London the following night.

They also support Florence & The Machine in a few weeks time. All dates after the album details.
