Ragged Words were and still are hugely enamored by Windmill's equal parts delicate and powerfully beautiful album of 2007 contender Puddle City Racing Lights. Matthew Thomas Dillon - he who is Windmill - tells us about its freshly-completed follow up in the first of our new In The Bag feature.

What's it called?
Epcot Starfields.

Where, when and with whom was it recorded? This one has been recorded at home, in isolation for a long time. But, I have recently been adding the talents of Tommy Heap (Bass), Sara Rees (cello), and the brilliant Helen Page (www.myspace.com/helenpaperplain). It shall be finished at Airtight Studios in Manchester (where Puddle City Racing Lights was recorded).

What can we expect? An epic yet fragile journey into our grandest ideas and the acceptance of the demise of those grand ideas through our incomprehensible mortality. If Puddle City Racing Lights is 'A New Hope', then Epcot Starfields is definitely 'The Empire Strikes Back'.

When will it be out? From the experience with the last one, probably around 6 months after it gets turned in.

When will it leak!? From the experience with the last one, probably around 1 month after it gets turned in. Hold out for that beautiful artwork and smell.

In A Ragged Word?
Tron.
