In The Bag: Brakes - Touchdown

Joining hometown label Fat Cat for their third album after two well received through Rough Trade, Brakes' Eamon Hamilton tells us what's what.

What's it called? Touchdown.

Where, when and with whom was it recorded? We started recording it just when Lehman Brothers investment bank collapsed, and started mixing just after the collapse of the American bank Wachovia, in Chemikal Underground's studio near Glasgow. We recorded and mixed it with Paul Savage (Delgados).

What can we expect? Alien contact.

When's it due out? April 20.

When will it leak!? When it is sent to journalists to review.
