Having killed it in Dublin on Monday, Yeasayer and not-too-shabby-either support act Suckers headed straight for the UK, and to Manchester on Wednesday night. The headliners' set was just as well received here, not least when the band decided to sing Happy Birthday to one of their new(ish) live percussionists before a sterling encore. Our man in Manchester, Duncan Elliott, was in the pit, out of the pit and far, far away from the pit to get the best snaps of the night.
