Fresh from checking guests into the Hotel Shampoo last week to preview the "decent - albeit unspectacular" album of the same name, Gruff Rhys welcomed parishioners to Manchester's St. Phillips church on Thursday night for yet another one of the Super Furry Animal main man's charming performances.
