A gig of two halves, treasured Dubliners The Frames played career standout For The Birds in full at Vicar Street last week before inviting all and sundry on stage for a bumper performance. Mark Earley steered clear of the self-indulgent second half of the show and instead concentrated on capturing Glen Hansard and co. giving their 2001 LP an exquisite outing.
