I am crazy about Kraftwerk, as I'm sure most people are. I know these are live versions of older songs, but I feel like they could remake these songs every few decades and I would be interested. This is a great album.
I'm not sure who else would pick this, but I love this album. It's a perfectly primitive bit of machine music.
This kind of big pop record is rare. I feel lucky to be around to see Natasha's world grow.
I hope this record is a unanimous pick on these kinds of lists. I think it's such an interesting sound, and I think Portishead is a very cool personality collision, anyway.
This really came out in Japan in '99, but everywhere else it arrived in '00, so it counts. So creative, and really set the scene for most of the so-called experimental, primitive, and jammy bands of this decade. Unfortunately, nobody has come anywhere close to this...

Seems like most people usually don't prefer this one, but looking back over this decade in particular, I've realized that it really stands out. It goes off in a million directions at once, somehow.
This is full of amazing sounds, amazing emotion, and amazing songs. It also has this darkness that is very hard to define. Very important record to me recently.
It's really hard to make these sorts of lists without just writing what you're listening to at the moment, but I love this. It's like an Ashra record, 30 years later.
I'm sure I'm not alone in this one. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Music so intuitive is extremely rare.
