Stars of the Lid
Formed in Austin, Texas in 1993, Stars Of The Lid have since taken musical soundscapes to the most breathless of places, ensuring the horrible description of ambient was kept at a safe distance. Debuting with Music For Nitrous Oxide in 1995, the duo received most acclaim for their most recent records 2001's The Tired Sounds of Stars Of The Lid and its long-awaited follow up Stars Of The Lid And Their Refinement Of The Decline six years later.
