Yorkshire-based, by one-third the way of Glasgow and a second temporarily via London, Sky Larkin crept up through the indie ranks with a couple of 2007 singles - One Of Two and Molten/Keepsakes on local lable Dance To The Radio before signing to Wichita a year later. Two more singles later - Fossil I and Beeline - and the trio's debut album arrived in early 2009. Recorded in Seattle with renowned producer John Goodmanson, the step up was staggering and The Golden Spike was comfrotably one of the best UK releases of the year.
