Initially formed as a three-piece in London, having all moved across the Atlantic, Semifinaists released a self-titled debut very much along dreamy Mercury Rev/Flaming Lips lines in 2006 before co-vocalist Adriana Alba left the band a year later. Remaining members Ferry Gouw and Chris Steele-Nicholson continued and returned with the owed to the 80's synth pop of 2 in 2008.
