Taking their name from the surname of vocalist Marcus Mumford, London four-piece Mumford and Sons formed in late 2007 and have been seamlessly making country, bluegrass and folk fashionable ever since. They debuted with the not-too-imaginatively titled EP within just a few months and followed up later in 2008 with another medium player Love Your Ground. Hotly tipped at the beginning of '09, the third installment of their EP trilogy The Cave and the Open Sea landed in April with a debut album due later in the year.
