By now everyone's favourite modern day rock n' roll band, The Hold Steady sped up their assent to the throne with 2006's end of year list dominating Boys And Girls In American. The Brooklyn-based, very much Minneapolis bred five-piece's had already laid the foundations with the just as vital Separation Sunday two years earlier and 2008's much-anticipated Stay Positive confirmed singer Craig Finn's place at the high table of The Boss.
