Taking their name from a minor character in the Tim Burton comedy Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Brooklyn keyboard-loving threesome Au Revoir Simone released their debut album Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation – via their own label in the US and Moshi Moshi in the UK – in 2006. Spurred on my the token tune in a US drama – in their case Greys Anatomy – the band released their well-received second album The Bird Of Music a year later. Still Night, Still Light followed back on their own Our Secret Record Company label in 2009.
