Arcade Fire

Where do you start with one of - if not the - most important bands of the past decade? Well first of all, by the same token that MySpace didn't make the Arctic Monkeys, you could swiftly downplay the 'Pitchfork Effect' surrounding Arcade Fire's early days. An internet phenomenon is only as enduring as its subject and Funeral, the Montreal seven-pieces debut, was and still is a phenomenal piece of work. Wildly-anticipated album number two Neon Bible disappointed only by comparison. The husband (Win Butler) and wife (Régine Chassagne) led band remain tight lipped about what lies next.
